General Committee Members
This can be a great place to start on the Committee. Be inside the decision making process, contribute your skills and learn more about Governance.

Supports the President and chairs meetings in the absence of the President. Can be a great apprenticeship if you think you'd like to take on the role of President in the longer run.
This person is responsible for the calling of meetings, preparation of agendas and minutes, and ensuring that the organisation meets its official reporting requirements.
The Treasurer assist the Committee by providing accurate information to enable it to make informed financial decisions. The responsibilities of Treasurer include overseeing the preparation of the budget, overseeing financial controls, providing monthly and annual financial statements, organising the annual audit and ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance with legislative requirements relating to financial matters and taxation requirements.
